Stenciling old warped and scratched salvation army record bin music albums

Rockin' Richards Vinyl  Record and CD show
October 4th  10-4
I have a lot of eighties  punk records.
( Anti-pasti, ire,the exploited, dead man' shadow, sex pistols etc.)

these are up cycled records I am stenciling.

The Collyer brothers Mansion In New York City.

Workers had to cut through the roof and lift out 136 tons of junk, floor by floor: the grand pianos, two organs, and a clavichord; human medical specimens preserved in a glass jars; the chassis of a Model-T Ford; a library of thousands of medical and... engineering books; an armory of weapons; gas chandeliers; the folding top of a horse drawn carriage; a rusted bicycle; three dressmaking dummies; a saw horse; a doll carriage; a rusted bed spring; a kerosene stove; a checkerboard; a child's chair; countless old newspapers; pinup girl photos; 6 U.S. flags and one Union Jack; a primitive X-Ray machine; and 34 bank deposit books with the balance totaling $3,007.18....does this sound like anybody we know?
I told Allan we have to get rid of the Ford!

I may have to go down to the exchange and dress up my favourite models for some old time photography stunts.
This was such a fun thing to do back in the eighties when there was so much interesting punk graffiti to use as backdrops.
I still love the area for its heritage and old buildings but unfortunately it has lost some of its charm with all the drunks that frequent the area.

Banjo Bowl Winnipeg Stadium Blue Bombers Saskatchewan Roughriders

I made devilled eggs and thought we could bring them to the game.
Allan sneered at me and said it is not a picnic, it's a football game!
with all seriousness you might think we were going to write an exam.
Like I do not know that it is a football game...jeez Louise you think I do not know the difference between a football game and a picnic.
What is wrong with bringing a little comfort food to a
good old  rough and tackle sport which I hate anyway.
Beer and nuts maybe, is all he said.

Bullet Resistant Bras

Bullet Resistant Bras

Shared via AddThis

on a trip to Kenora and Longbow Lake
yesterday, this little Deer just sat and waited for his picture to be taken on the old number1 hwy.
I feel so much safer on these old back-roads as the trans-Canada is so congested with truckers now that the railway is not hauling to smaller destinations.

We stopped at an antiques store.
Junktion Antiques
Hwy 17 just a few miles east of Kenora but before the bypass so you must go through town to get there.
The proprietor's name is Phil and his number is 807-466-1640.
I found a filing case similar to this and I am hoping to acquire it for storing all the collage and crafting items I am bringing to the shop.

vintage Harequin Romance Novels

I don't know how they can call these novels but they sure are novelties.
I have two boxes of vintage ones from the fifties.
I always thought if I had a cabin they would be fun to have on on display because I imagine that is were people might read such trashy stuff.
They are not trashy as in content they are actually quite strict in the moral sense.
Harlequin romance cover art holds its own appeal for fictional romance enthusiasts. The visual of the brawny hero and his damsel in distress has become synonymous with the Harlequin brand; in fact, collectors eagerly seek out vintage Harlequin cover art in a nod to the birth of a brand. While the Harlequin novel covers have gradually changed throughout the years to reflect a more modern audience, the cover art is still just as meticulously created as it was at its inception.
